Omar believes in helping others catalyze their lives and achieve higher education. Ask him and he’ll tell you that he makes the best kefta you’ll ever have. He also has perhaps Baret’s biggest laugh. For Baret, he’ll be helping to lead Fellowships with a focus in Politics, beginning with a stay in Washington, D.C. in the leadup to the United States Presidential election. She returned to Rio where she graduated with a degree in Psychology from the Federal Fluminense University and later specialized in College and Career Counseling. Born in Koblenz, Germany, in the last ten years Caren has lived in six countries. As an undergraduate, she earned a degree in Business Administration and Management at WHU – Otto Beishem School of Management, traveling to China, England, and Spain through internships and study abroad opportunities to see international collaborations first-hand. She moved on to Durham University in London, where she obtained an MSc in International Business and French. Throughout her education, she retained her sense that leadership was vital to any business. While studying, she was recruited by Google to join their marketing solutions team in Dublin. While there, she also became an #IAmRemarkable facilitator to encourage underrepresented minorities to speak up about their achievements at the workplace . Ever since his days in Beirut, Lebanon, Omar has been all about committing to a cause. He attended and graduated from the American University of Beirut (AUB) with a bachelor’s degree in Political Studies, and holds the esteemed position of perhaps being Baret’s toughest member: he was Vice President of the University of Chicago Rugby and represented Lebanon on the Lebanese National Rugby team. While in Lebanon, he supported a local NGO helping refugees living in poverty by providing food and other resources. He is also an avid Arsenal fan. His journey ultimately led him to attain a master’s degree in Public Policy from the University of Chicago. While there, he acquired tools to implement his passion for helping others achieve their potential. Originally from Chicago, Sophie moved south to pursue a Bachelor’s in Marine Biology, Chemistry and Studio Art at the College of Charleston. After graduating, she was awarded back-to- back Fulbright grants to teach in Mexico. Sophie likes to make friends with everyone she meets: as an educational diver at the deepest aquarium in the United States, she had, in her own words, a very amicable relationship with a red snapper who would follow her around the tank whenever she entered. Sophie’s greatest joy is to facilitate learning, exploration and creativity (preferably all at once). She designed REACH at the Island School in the Bahamas, a summer program for college students that included scuba lessons and overnight camping trips, and subsequently spearheaded program design at Expedition Audacity and Reach The World. She has led classrooms on the decks of kayaks,

passion as a career and guidance counselor. A

self-proclaimed “expert on Zoomers,” she has worked in International and Brazilian Schools supporting high school students who wanted to study in universities all over the world. Her last stop before Baret was as the Head of Career and University Counseling at Escola Concept in São Paulo. In 2023 Revelyn was awarded Emerging Counselor of the Year in Latin America & The Caribbean by IC3 (International Counseling Community),
