FLAMENCO FIESTA ANDALUSIA Flamenco, the heartbeat of Andalusia, comes alive for a group of Baret students. Starting in Seville, the group experiences Flamenco’s origins through tours and live shows and learns to dance a basic Sevillana and improvise to Spanish music. In Jerez and Cádiz, they dive into workshops and explore Flamenco heritage sites. Scholars then travel to the heart of Gypsy culture D
in Andalusia, the town of Granada. Here, they explore the historic neighbourhoods of Sacromonte and Albayzín, where Flamenco’s roots run deep. They also travel to the ancient city of Córdoba, visiting Moorish palaces and mediaeval streets, gaining insight into the multicultural influences that shaped Flamenco music and dance. Designed with Caren Hanssmann , who lives in Spain, this journey ends with a farewell tapas tour in Seville. ECO OBSERVERS SIERRA NEVADA From high performance athletes to daily commuters, cycling has long been an effective E
and eco-friendly method of transport across the world, and has come to a particular state of reverence in Europe. Across the hundreds of thousands of kilometers of trails in Europe, locals, tourists and adrenaline seekers alike have decided to frame their travel experiences through spokes and gears. On this fellowship, students take to their wheels through the diverse ecosystems of the Sierra Nevada and Andalusia. The region is home to snowy mountain peaks, desert, coastal beaches, rich forests and urban ecosystems. Throughout this fellowship the group learns about techniques in road/gravel cycling, trains and completes a 115 km overnight bike tour, and hikes extensively
through the mountain region. Designed with
Sophie Kreutz , a recipient of back-to-back Fulbright grants , this Fellowship gives students a road warrior’s view of Spain. THE SOUND OF MUSIC GERMANY Germany offers a unique educational opportunity for those passionate about music. This Fellowship allows scholars to immerse themselves in the rich musical tapestry of Germany, from classical masterpieces in Leipzig to cutting-edge beats in Hamburg and the techno music scene in Berlin. with Olivia Williamson , whose career has been at the dynamic intersection of fashion and technology, this fellowship has students execute a photoshoot against Paris’ iconic landmarks, exploring the future of fashion through their unique global perspectives. TASTE OF ITALY TUSCANY The focus of this immersive culinary fellowship is Italy, a nation C celebrated for its rich gastronomic heritage. Scholars journey to various regions in Italy, from the picturesque vineyards of Tuscany to the bustling markets of Rome and the charming canals of Venice. They explore Rialto Market in Venice and the vineyards and olive groves of Tuscany, and try the freshest seafood caught from the Adriatic Sea. Scholars explore the history of the cuisine of these cities, from ancient Roman times to the manner in which Renaissance trade routes diversified flavor profiles with a host of spices. Designed with Ronan MacRory , who was born and raised in Rome, this Fellowship also includes hands-on cooking classes

COOL BRITANNIA LONDON This fellowship is for the creators of the world who want to know first-hand A how an artistic movement ignites into an international sensation and repositions a city on the global cultural map. By meeting key players in the formation of Britain´s nineties movement, Cool Britannia, our scholars learn how even the UK needed rebranding and succeeded–for a while. This 10-day intensive fellowship brings together emerging leaders in the arts and creative industries to explore the dynamic transformation of Britain’s cultural landscape from the Cool Britannia era to its present-day influence on London’s art scene. The curriculum is designed to foster a deep understanding of the role of art in societal change, offering participants exclusive access to iconic institutions, workshops
for personal artistic development, and dialogues with influential figures in the art world. Designed with Baret’s President, Alexandra Garcia , this Fellowship helps students find their own fountain of creativity and learn to access it. HAUTE COUTURE PARIS Paris stands as an iconic center of fashion, rooted in a history dating back to the 17th century when French royalty set enduring global trends. Today, it continues to lead with prestigious fashion houses, visionary designers, and the globally anticipated Paris Fashion Week, showcasing the latest in haute B couture and ready-to-wear collections. Students delve into what makes Paris a global
