I am writing to express my sincere interest in serving on the Board of Directors for Outdoor Resorts Palm Springs. With 30 years of experience in the Real Estate Industry and a deep commitment to our
community, I am confident in my ability to contribute positively to the boards efforts in making this resort truly Five Star. My husband and I call ORPS our Winter home. The Immediate sense of belonging and the beauty of the resort affirmed our decision to be here. Since being at ORPS I have actively engaged with the community in various committees and events which has deepened my understanding of our resident's needs and aspirations. My professional journey began with Pacific NW Bell and AT&T Communications. Transitioning into Real Estate I have dedicated my tenure assisting clients in finding their ideal home, honing my skills in listening, negotiation and client needs. My leadership roles include serving on the local Board of Realtors for 12 years, holding positions such as Secretary, Treasurer, Vice President and President twice. I was a Board of Director and Committee Spokesperson for the Oregon State Board of Realtors and trained mediator. I also had a strong commitment to community service, especially working with homeless families in transitioning them off the streets and back into the workforce with an 85% success rate. At ORPS I have immersed myself in community activities, serving on the Planning Committee, the restaurant Ad Hoc committee, participation with FMCA and leading the initiative to address concerns with the C4 Cannabis odor issue. These experiences have provided me with a comprehensive understanding of our community's strengths and challenges. Finally, I firmly believe in the importance or transparency as well as open communication between the board and the residents within the guidelines and by - laws. I am committed to fostering a culture of inclusivity and collaboration, ensuring that decisions reflect the collective interest of our wonderful community.
