Crofton Library Reopens After Exciting Renovation After a five-week closure to take care of much-needed updates, the Crofton Library officially reopened December 30, offering a refreshed and vibrant space for the community.

The renovation, which included new paint, carpeting and shelving, has transformed the library into a bright, welcoming environment for all. “We are really enjoying all the positive customer responses,” said Crofton Library Manager Rachel Troianos Halbig. “We worked very hard to make the library look and function in a more updated and practical way that reflects how our customers are actually using the space.” The Crofton Library staff collectively picked out the new carpet and paint colors and agreed that the new lower shelving would create a more open, inviting space for customers.
