Lupus Foundation of Northern California

Lupus Foundation of Northern California

Provides education and support for patients and family of lupus and related diseases. Disability specialists, healthcare professionals and other patients share experiences and suggestions as guest speakers. The Northern California Chapter is a lifeline for people living with MS by providing reliable knowledge, engaging and innovative programs and services, financial assistance and a sense of community. Ostomy Health Care provides moral support and rehabilitation teams to visit post-operative or pre-operative ostomates on a doctor’s request. Provides educational materials and kits. Works closely with the American Cancer Society and professionals. Meet at St. Stephen’s Church, 500 Robinson Rd, Sebastopol, 2pm. Support groups for Care Partners and people with Parkinson’s. Provides palliative care and support services for terminally ill patients and their families, including physical, psychosocial, spiritual and bereavement care. Bereavement services are available to all Sonoma County residents. Groups are available for adults, teens and children as well as individual counseling. Meeting: 2nd Saturday of the month, 1pm-3pm at First Congregational Church. 2000 Humboldt St., Santa Rosa, CA. Offers support groups including bereaved parents, survivors of suicide, partner/spouse loss, people in grief, adults who have lost parents, and daughters grieving their mothers.
