AARP

Offers a Smart Driver Course taught by volunteer instructors who teach defensive driving techniques to senior adults consistent with California DMV rules of the road. CA insurance companies offer a discount to drivers who complete the course. Library services to people who are unable to read standard print books because of visual or physical disabilities. Services offered free to qualified applicants are Braille and talking books, magazines, machines, catalogs. Provides training, employment and community service opportunities for mature workers, including a variety of programs designed to help mature individuals enter the workforce, move into new career areas, or supplement their Social Security income. Computer Lab open Monday to Friday from 8:30 am - 4:00 pm. Offers a full range of free vocational services: one-stop career center for career assessment, testing, counseling; on the job training programs, and job seeking assistance and placement for full time and part
