SHORT DESCRIPTION

Provides information on what Medicare covers: preventive benefits to help you stay healthy, compare Medicare health plans, choose nursing homes for yourself or a loved one, and learn about programs that may help with the cost of prescription drugs. Provides temporary cash aid, medical services and CalFresh (Food Stamps). May also assist in obtaining services that will provide long-term benefits such as SSI. MyBenefits CalWiN is a fast, easy way for California residents to get the help they need. Medi-Cal program information can be found online at www.dhcs.ca.gove/individuals/Pages/ default.aspx The place to get federal premium assistance to buy health insurance. Provides assistance and advocacy for veterans and their dependents and survivors to claim state and federal benefits. Provides information, assistance and referral in obtaining medical and other services. Call for appointment. Provides counseling on Medi-Care, explaining how it works with other insurances such as Medi-Care supplemental policy, HMOs and long term insurance policies. Offers an outreach program for all veterans and their families that helps with housing, VA Benefits, legal issues and many other services that you may require.
