Provides education and advocacy for people with psychiatric and/or developmental disabilities, with or without physical disabilities. Provides representation for SSI, Social Security Disability, and disability work incentive programs hearings and appeals. Community Connections offers opportunities for LGBT older adult men and women to come together for socializing, support, and community. Also provides resources and referral and education and advocacy to help create LGBT-friendly services. Marin based. Established by state and federal law as in independent state agency to ensure that people with developmental disabilities and their families receive the services and support they need. The Village Network of Petaluma is a nonprofit membership organization led by active older adults 50+ in the Petaluma-Penngrove area. Offers online and in-person programs and Special Interest groups. Sonoma County History and Genealogy Library

The central library is the largest Sonoma County Library; serves as the reference center for the library system. Behind the central Library is a local history and genealogy annex. Provides general library services, telephone reference services, large- print books, books on cassette and CD, videos, DVDs, cassettes, compact discs and free public access to the Internet. Also provides information and applications for the State Library’s Braille and Talking Books Programs. Items may be borrowed through any library and returned to any library.
