CHOOSE YOUR SAFETY TAG SYSTEM OPTION Option 1: The RGBY System In line with standard mining and construction procedures, the colour coded RGBY (Red, Green, Blue, Yellow) maintenance system allows for easy referencing and safety procedures. The RGBY system is commonly used for quarterly inspections. Each tag contains the most recent inspection date, and the colour should correlate with the quarterly colour indicated on the inspection board. A yellow ‘Out Of Service’ sticker is placed on any equipment which has failed the inspection.
