plan to return again to the Sandringham Club for our annual gathering. After an enjoyable meal, we moved to the Billiards Room. The Club is an historical organisation with interesting ties to international and local sporting teams as well as the local community. On Tuesday 19 March a dinner was held in London for Old Boys living in the UK. It was held at Caravan Fitzrovia, which was founded by Kiwis, and for whom organiser Fletcher Bowley works. Everyone enjoyed a delicious three-course meal featuring a wonderful slow-roasted lamb dish and a selection of wines from around the world. Sam Harvey, General Manager of Caravan Coffee Roasters was guest speaker and talked about the importance of recognising and dealing with vulnerability in the workplace. We reflected on the tragic events that occurred in Christchurch recently and committed to making a donation to the families of the victims. A good night for UK Old Boys to all come together.
