SPONSORSHIP ‘‘On the Couch’’ with our sponsors
Coaches, managers and parents, along with sponsors and special guests, gathered together for an evening of laughter, drinks and canapés to celebrate the 2018 Drama and Sport seasons. This year’s theme was “On the Couch”, with MC Peter Davidson inviting guests and sponsors to join him to discuss the impact of 2018 sponsorship, and what 2019 holds. Special guest, Old Boy Robbie Deans, joined 1st XV head coach
Reuben Thorne and Stephen Dods MiC Rugby, on the couch. As head coach for the Panasonic Wild Knights in Japan, Robbie discussed the importance of sponsorship in his professional career. He also spoke about the 2017 College trip where six rugby playing students had the opportunity to travel to Ota City for an intensive training workshop with the team.
Executive Principal Garth Wynne opened the annual Christ’s College sponsorship event on a sunny late summer evening. Garth thanked our supportive sponsors for their generosity in 2018 and welcomed our 2019 sponsors for the season ahead.
