FIRE SAFETY
There are sprinklers and smoke / heat detectors in all areas of the hotel, including guest rooms. The hotel is equipped with fire alarm terminals, which are monitored 24 hours a day. In the unlikely event of a fire, please activate the nearest Manual Call Point (MCP) or touch the EMERGENCY button on your guest room telephone immediately. Our fully trained team will respond at once. If you hear a fire alarm: remain calm, stay in your room and wait for instructions through the public announcement sys- tem. Should evacuation be necessary, take your room key. Proceed to the nearest stairs marked EXIT, follow the exit signs and get assembled in Evacuation Assembly Point which is the lawn area between the two swimming pools. Please do not use elevators. If you find a fire in the hallway, activate the nearest Manual Call Point (MCP) and follow CAPE procedure. C = Close the door, A = Activate Alarm, P = Phone the Hotel Emergency Number and E = Evacuate to the Assembly Point. Please determine how to switch off the air-conditioner, as this will prevent smoke from being drawn into the room in the event of a fire. It is also wise to keep the room key in a handy position near the bedside. For queries, please contact Guest Services for Loss Prevention. In addition to the personal safe in your room, safety deposit boxes are available for your use. If you prefer to use a safety deposit box, please contact the Front Desk at to arrange for the service.
