Another year flew by and here we are again, time for our highly anticipated Annual Conference. I hope everyone is adjusting to the “new normal” and are seeing ridership numbers gradually increase to pre-pandemic levels. We have an exciting lineup for you this year, starting with our keynote speaker, Robert Heath, CEO of Legacy Leadership Consulting. Look to start your conference off highly motivated as you enjoy breakout sessions on ADA, Accounting, Route Planning and many other exciting training opportunities. Tuesday morning at our General Meeting we are privileged to have Terry Garcia Crews, FTA Region 3 Administrator joining us. At our Awards Luncheon (sponsored by Vector Media) on Wednesday, we will have another keynote speaker, Dan Mulraney speaking to us about the chronology of leadership. The Wednesday evening Partnership Dinner (sponsored by Mead & Hunt) will be on dry land this year, but we will be enjoying casino night, where you will have the opportunity to win some great prizes. And for a new twist, breakfast on both Wednesday and Thursday will be roundtables with informal discussions on passenger transportation matters. I want to officially thank our TAM Conference Planning Committee and Board of Directors. Their tireless efforts ensure a successful event each year by bringing our members the resources and information they need and by securing generous sponsorships and highly sought-after conference vendors. In addition, the support of our partners at the Maryland Transit Administration (MDOT MTA) has been above and beyond the call of duty – we could not have put this event on without your assistance! A special thank you to all of our sponsors and exhibitors this year (see list on pages 14 & 15). Their participation is so vital to this event, so make sure to thank them all personally at our Bus and Vendor Showcases on Tuesday and take those calls! Looking ahead, we have our Legislative Reception in January, our Roadeo on April 15 (sign up to volunteer or sponsor today!) and our General Meeting will be on May 10. I look forward to seeing many of you at these events next year! I hope you enjoy the conference this year.
