The estimates reflect the distribution of a total of $2.71 billion in federal spending on goods and services by the Air Force, FAA, and NASA in the region. In Oklahoma County, the city of Oklahoma City accounts for more than 82% ($2.46 billion) of total statewide aerospace-specific contracting and 92% of county-wide aerospace contracting. An additional $194 million is identified as performed at Tinker AFB. Less than $5 million is reported as performed in Edmond. Very little aerospace contracting is present in other cities within Oklahoma county. Boeing contracting also represents slightly more than half of all contracting performed for the Air Force, FAA, and NASA in the 10-county region in the period. It is also 30% of all contracting performed statewide for all federal agencies. contracting.
