401(k) Salary Savings Plan
Financial Planning Services Wolter offers free retirement / financial planning services to those employees who participate in our 401(k) plan from a professional financial planner. Flexible Medical & Dependent Day Care Plan A Flexible Medical Savings Account allows employees to set aside money, via payroll deduction, on a pre-tax basis to cover medical items that are not reimbursed by any insurance plan, or for dependent day care. In 2024, you may contribute a maximum of $3,050 into your FSA & carryover up to $610 of any unused dollars at the end of the year. Voluntary Wellness Program All employees are encouraged to participate in eligible activities from UHC Rewards, such as taking a health survey, getting a biometric screening, & connecting an activity tracker. Employees on our health plan who open a health savings account are eligible to earn up to $1,000 in financial reward incentives from UHC Rewards. UMB Bank HSA Program Health savings accounts are tax-advantaged checking accounts that provide the ability to save for future medical expenses or pay current ones. The accounts are individually owned, which means the account will always belong to the employee. Employees can open a Health Savings Account through the Healthcare Online Portal (HOP) & receive ongoing support and resources related to Health Savings Accounts.

Wolter offers a 401(k) plan which allows employees to deduct a percentage of earnings on both a pre-tax basis & a post-tax basis (Roth option) to save for retirement. Our company offers a discretionary match each pay period & an additional discretionary profit-sharing match at the end of the calendar year. All employees are automatically enrolled in the plan on the first of the month following 30 days of employment unless they waive the plan. Eligibility for match funds begins after 90 days of employment. We also offer an automatic deferral increase provision to help assure you meet your retirement goals.
