Forensic Scientist, Long Beach Police Department Lily Gossage, Ph.D. Director, Maximizing Engineering Potential & Women in Science and Engineering, Cal Poly Pomona This award is accepted in loving memory of Aiden Tai Gossage, the beautiful and kind-hearted 16-year-old son of Greg and Lily Gossage. The death of a child is the greatest tragedy, representing the loss of future dreams, expectations, and hopes. The Gossages endure a lifetime of missing their son for the privilege of loving him. Aiden’s spirit continues to inspire and remind us of the importance of cherishing every moment with our loved ones. His memory lives on through the love and actions of those who knew him.

Founded in 1989, Transtech is a full-service municipal consulting firm providing civil and traffic engineering, public works, construction management, and building services to over 80 cities in Southern California. Our headquarters is in Chino, with regional offices in Los Angeles, San Bernardino, Big Bear Lake, and Costa Mesa. This year, we celebrate 35 years of quality service to public agencies! Transtech is committed to community support through civic events, scholarships for Civil Engineering students at Cal Poly Pomona, and participation on non-profit boards. We live by our motto – “Your Projects. Our Passion.” Community service and civic engagement, especially with youth, are core values at Transtech. We proudly partner with civic groups, non-profits, and chambers of commerce in the cities we serve, encouraging students to pursue STEM fields.
San Bernardino County District Attorney Jason Anderson has been a member of the California
State Bar since 1997. He graduated from Regent
University School of Law in Virginia in 1996. Mr. Anderson served as a Deputy District Attorney for the County of San Bernardino from 1998 until 2014. In this capacity, he worked as a prosecutor handling a variety of serious cases, particularly in the Crimes Against Children Unit for 13 years. Mr. Anderson was first elected as the San Bernardino County District Attorney in 2018. He was re-elected in 2022. Mr. Anderson has been married for 29 years; he has two children and one grandson. District Attorney Anderson’s mission includes respecting and inspiring confidence in the rule of law both inside and outside the Office, collaboratively ensuring justice with excellence, integrity and compassion, stewarding public resources to hold the guilty accountable, support victims of crime, and honoring the humanity of all involved in the criminal justice system, and restoring a culture of service and accountability to the San Bernardino County District Attorney’s Office.
