If there were any award given for slow motion Kent would most surely be the re cipient. Mother was not a little amazed that her little boy was conversant with the word planet. “No, dear. Heaven is a place. It is a prepared place for a prepared people. Can you tell me which people are prepared for heaven?” “ Christians, I guess.” “How are they prepared for heaven?” “ By going to the front when Daddy invites you.” “ I’m afraid there’s more to prep aration than that, honey boy.” “Well, you should believe in the Lord.” “ Believe what?” “ 0 , that Jesus died on the cross to save us from our sins.” “That’s correct. He did die in our place. But some people be lieve with their minds that the Lord Jesus Christ died on the cross but they are still not prepared for heaven. What have they failed to do?” “ I guess they didn’t invite Him into their heart. You have to ac cept Him in your heart.” “ Have you accepted Jesus into your heart?” “ You know I have, Mama. I’m saved, too.” “You certainly are, Sweetie.” Mother hugged her little boy as her heart sang a paen of praise for his assurance of salvation. Even at his tender age there is no doubt in his mind that he belongs to Christ. He is prepared for that prepared place with the Father in glory.
