reported a number of new buy- side clients, including Abacus Capital , Strategic Property Investment , Nitya Capital , and additional teams within Alliance Residential . By providing deal parties with sophisticated data ana- lytics and visualization tools, ResiModel allows brokers, investors, lenders and ap- praisers to build their own comprehensive databases of underlying property rent rolls and operating statements. “To win deals, it is critical for buyers to be able to evaluate a greater number of potential in-

vestment opportunities faster and better than the competi- tion,” said Elliot Vermes , CEO of ResiModel. “Similarly, in order to win listings in an increasingly competitive sales environment, brokers need to be able to fully capitalize on the vast amount of data they collect. ResiModel provides the brokers with deeper insight needed to unlock hidden value that even the sellers them- selves may have overlooked.” Since releasing rent roll analytics in December 2014, ResiModel has seen a five-fold increase in monthly client logins. Users report that Resi- Model’s rent roll analytics has enabled them to be more pro- ductive by reducing the time required to convert rent rolls and operating data from dis- parate property management systems into a format that they can analyze. “ResiModel allows me to quickly dig down and pull trends hidden among the weeds of data. In addition, [it] allows me to review more [deals] in a shorter timeframe,” said Yinka Oyelaran , direc- tor of business development with Alliance Residential, which expanded it usage of ResiModel earlier this year. Added Sean Henry , South- east managing partner at Moran & Co.: “ResiModel adds significant horsepower to our underwriting process. The powerful rent roll analytics, and database comparisons em- power us to identify persuasive hidden potential.” ResiModel has raised $3.5 million in a series of rounds from investors who have wit- nessed the multifamily indus- try’s growth and recognize the demand for the platform. The investor base includes both prominent venture capital firms and industry leaders in commercial real estate. Since launching, ResiModel has quickly amassed a cus- tomer base comprised of deal teams at many of the indus- try’s top brokerage firms, in- cluding CBRE, Jones Lang LaSalle , ARA , Colliers, Mar- cus &Millichap , Moran&Co. and Cushman & Wakefield , along with a number of premier multifamily investors, such as Alliance Residential Company, Carmel Partners and The Milestone Group . To date, more than 1,600 multifamily transactions have been en- tered into the platform. n
