Hanson , a New Jersey-based commercial real estate firm, announced the suc- cessful leasing of 6,000 s/f, at 701 Broadway in Westwood, to a franchisee of Pulse Fitness. Sales associate Jill Gordon, of NAI Hanson, marketed the space and managed the trans- action on behalf of the indus- trial property’s owner, Robert Risman. The space includes 12-foot ceilings, an interior in excellent condition, visible signage and 30 parking spots. Pulse will feature a juice bar, a full range of weights, state- of-the-art exercise equipment, private/ personal training and facilities for children’s fitness. The gym, which has strong lo- cal ties, will benefit from this central location in a corridor with almost no other national fitness brands. The site is located along Rte. 115 (Broadway) in Westwood. It is also situated in close proximity to the Garden State Parkway. “This is a location along a busy street in the middle of an area that has a huge customer base, but almost no national fitness brands,” Gordon said. “Pulse fills that void and the building is perfect for what it will offer. This ownership group is extremely involved in the community and is commit- ted to opening a gym in town. We presented 701 Broadway as the perfect solution for build- ing membership and operating a thriving local business.” n
