co-operatives involved in “100 Product Champion”, seeing them finally made it to the shelf of hypermarkets in Malaysia was truly a significant moment. In 2017, hypermarket AEON Big started selling co-operative products and followed by supermarket Giant in 2018. Realizing online shopping is the way to go for almost everyone, ANGKASA signed a Memorandum of Understanding with e-commerce company AmaxMall that enable consumers to purchase co-operative products via online. Since 2014, ANGKASA has organized MACCOPS, the shortform term for the Malaysian Carnival of Co-operatives’ Products and Services. Through this biennial event, co- operatives are able to showcase their products and services to visitors while at the same time build relationships and create business network via business matching sessions that take place. the appearance and quality of their products through packaging, labeling, branding, certification, barcode, printing and shipping. Each year, ANGKASA also provide guidance to co-operatives through workshops and seminars, which mostly focused on entrepreneurship and marketing, while also actively promote SKUs under “100 Product Champion” at food expos that took place at national and international levels.

In July 2017, 588 cartons of various

brands of co-operative products under this program worth RM100,000 (USD24,000) were exported to Brunei, marking a new achievement for ANGKASA. A few days later, Singapore became the second export destination for these products. Although being able to finally exporting local co-operative products to overseas was undeniably a great experience for both ANGKASA and
