had grown used to living in pain. I had learned to compensate in the way I moved, because I hurt all the time. I had injuries that no one could understand. Hearing ‘Your just getting old’ or ‘It’s just arthritis, there’s not much we can do’ was getting old. My life was being held back and I was weary of hurting all the time and taking pain medication just to get by. The endless cycle of doctors, PTs and pain relievers with no improvement was giving me a sense of hopelessness. Dr. John figured out and showed me what my problems were and how to get down the road to relief! “I’m Jeff Bender, I’m self employed and work in construction. Most of the time I am doing remodels and installing dry wall. So when my hip started to bother me last year, I learned I was going to need a new hip, I was greatly concerned how this was going to disrupt my life and of course my work. When I started, the pain was minimal but my hip was quite stiff, my leg was weak, I was off course off work and my wife had to drive me everywhere!
