Where You Are Treated Like Family Joseph “Joe” Albanese founded Joseph J. Albanese, Inc. in 1955. The son of Italian immigrants and a World War II veteran, Joe instilled in his team the need to treat both clients and team members like family. In 1985, Joe passed the torch to his son, John Albanese. Motivated by his experience in the Vietnam War, John created the “Dogs of War” mentality and bulldog mascot to signify the strength and dedication of the team to his motto, “Getting It Done Safely!” Phillip Albanese, John’s son, took the reins as CEO in 2020. Phillip is proud to lead the company that his grandfather founded into a new era of growth and expansion, backed by cutting-edge technology, exceptional clients and his devoted “Dogs of War.”

WE USE THE MOST ADVANCED TECHNOLOGY AVAILLABLE At Joseph J. Albanese, Inc., we use the latest technology to keep your project on-time and on-budget. We build in Cyberspace before the real building begins. Utilizing advanced Virtual Construction technologies, including Building Information Modeling (BIM) and 3D Modeling, we ensure that the job is as complete as possible before the building process begins. We use in-field technology for virtual views and tracking. Our Assemble Model Software enables 3D viewing of our BIM models on an iPad. Our Global Positioning System (GPS) ensures that project specifications are accurate by helping drive our field equipment. We turn our field workers into superheroes. Wearable technology, including Eksoskeleton suits and ErgoArm mechanical elbows, gives our workers added strength and power to get more done. We use planning and tracking platforms to stay on target. We keep all teams aligned by using Autodesk, SmartTagiIt, HCSS Safety Software, HCSS HeavyJob, Safeforce and other smart tools. 6

As General Manager of Joseph J. Albanese, Inc. Mountain West in Boise, Jeremy Schalk leads business development, operations and oversees client relations in the Idaho region. Jeremy was previously vice president of Operations for Wright Brothers, The Building Company, Eagle LLC in Eagle, Idaho.
As a project executive in Boise for Joseph J Albanese, Inc. Mountain West, Thomas Sperbeck manages client relations and oversees projects. Prior to his role as Project Executive, Thomas was a project manager with Wright Brothers, The Building Company, Eagle LLC in Eagle, Idaho.
Thomas shares a relentless desire for client success and is always focused on driving the schedule and delivering unparalleled quality. His proficiency involves a wide range of product types, which spans multi- family, industrial and office. Thomas is a graduate of Boise State University with a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration. During his tenure at BSU, Thomas was a starting wide receiver for Boise State football (2013–2016) and was selected Team Captain (2016). He was honored as a two-time Academic All-Mountain West Team member (2014– 2015) and received the 2014 Fiesta Bowl MVP Award. Thomas currently holds the all-time Boise State receiving yards record at 3,601 yards.

Jeremy has more than 10 years of experience working for world-class developers and contractors. He has provided leadership on many notable projects within the Treasure Valley and Mountain West region. Jeremy’s commitment to exceed client expectations has created long-lasting relationships throughout his career. Jeremy is a graduate of Boise State University with a bachelor’s degree in Construction Management. He holds an LEED Green Associate certification from the U.S. Green Building Council.
