The delegates gained insights of the co-operative movement in Malaysia and ANGKASA’s role as the apex organization for co-operatives in the country. The success of school co-operative movement in Malaysia was one of the many topics discussed by the two co-ops. Abdul Fattah in his welcoming speech to the delegates said ANGKASA is ready to assist IFFCO to establish school co-operatives in India. He also added by setting up co- operative at the school level, India, a nation with the world’s largest youth population, will be able to have a growing number of entrepreneurs in the country. IFFCO, being one of the largest co-operatives in India, also expressed their wish to learn more about school co-operative in Malaysia in their next visit, hoping to follow the footstep of other countries that had received assistance and advice from ANGKASA on school co-operative. The delegates also made a quick tour to ANGKASA’s Entrepreneur Service Centre, where more than 50 co-operatives products are being sold and Co-operative Museum.
