Autonomous Flight Skills Mission Scoring

The Referee will score the Match while the Drone is flying. Teams may attempt tasks in any order. It is recommended that the Referee verbally confirms tasks that are successfully completed as it goes through the course; for example, announcing aloud “Figure 8 Complete,” or “Through Keyhole” as the task is scored. It is recommended that the Co-Pilot of the Team stand next to the Referee to confirm these tasks as they happen.

Autonomous Flight Mission Set Up

<AM1> Set up Color Mats. There are three (3) colored squares in this mission: red, blue and green. When the Team arrives at the field, a Flight Team Member will roll a six-sided die (or something similar) which will tell them which scenario they have been assigned. A Flight Team Member is responsible for placing the mats at the field. Each time a Team starts a new Autonomous Flight Skills Mission run, they must re-roll the die and place the correct color mats.
