<AM14> Pilot Station. During Autonomous Flight Missions and Piloting Skills Missions, the Pilot/Programmer and Co-Pilot must remain in the Pilot station, which is approximately 10 feet long and 2 feet wide. (Figure 3 1 ) <AM15> Visual Observer station. During Autonomous Flight Missions, the Visual Observer may walk (not run) around the perimeter of the field to: a. Make notes about Drone performance to improve future runs. b. Retrieve the Drone. c. Catch the Drone in case of an emergency stop. Visual Observers should keep in mind that walking near the Drone during flight MAY cause interference/ wind drafts which could affect the performance. We highly recommend you walk slowly and make small movements to reduce the chances of affecting airflow.
