AFTER YEARS IN LONG ISLAND, CHRISTOPHER AND GENEVIEVE CARLEO WANTED A NEW HOME WHERE THEY COULD ENJOY WARM WINTERS AND A LAID-BACK LIFESTYLE.
Palm Beach Gardens quickly became the focus, and new construction felt like the best choice. On a cruise stop in Fort Lauderdale, they stumbled upon Solana Bay by Akel-and were sold after touring the models. They were drawn to Akel’s reputation as a family-owned builder. “We could see that it was a family company, and they really cared about the quality,” says Genevieve. Christopher adds, “They’re approachable. We even met the builder, and the whole staff seemed like they cared.” The couple appreciated Akel’s seamless process and level of customization. “Their designs are gorgeous, and the craftsmanship is top-notch,” Christopher explains. “You can find whatever suits you, and they make sure it’s done very well.” Questions were always answered quickly, easing the stress of building. “They go above and beyond,” adds Genevieve. Now settled in, the Carleos couldn’t be happier with their home. “If we had to build again, we’d absolutely go with Akel,” says Genevieve. “They made the process smooth and showed us they really care.”
