When Luis and Gabriela Rodrigues first discovered Solana Bay, they knew it was exactly what they wanted: a family-friendly community with beautifully finished homes and a builder known for exceptional service.
Originally from Brazil, the couple and their five children wanted a safe neighborhood where their kids could play freely. “We were looking for, first of all, a safe place,” says Luis. Gabriela adds, “It’s not too big, which we like because the kids are always playing in the street. We feel very secure with the kids.” They were impressed by the craftsmanship of Akel Homes-everything from the walls and doors to the ceilings. Equally important was the high level of personalization. “You have different options of paint, layout, and interior,” says Luis. Weekly updates and photos kept them
informed during the eleven-month build. “You basically follow through the journey-you know what’s happening.”
What stood out most was Akel’s personal approach. ”The way they talk with you, it’s like family,” Luis explains. Gabri- ela adds, “They were right there to answer any questions, texts, or emails right away.” Now settled in, the Rodrigues family has no regrets. “If we had to do it again, we would do it with the same builder, the same team,” Gabriela says. “Everything was so easy, and we knew right away this was the place we wanted to be.”
