Furniture Company) , a full service contract furniture dealership, has recently been awarded a $2.7 million contract to provide furniture, fixtures and equipment to the new five-story, 281,000 s/f Patient Pavilion in Wynnewood. This new Patient Pavilion will house the hospital’s spe- cialized heart, lung and vascu- lar care facilities, and is part of a larger $529 million expansion and renovation project on the hospital’s 92-acre campus. The new building will consist of 96

private inpatient rooms that include 32 intensive care unit beds and two 32-bed telemetry inpatient care units. The new building will surround and connect existing buildings on campus. Other portions of the expansion project include a 1,300-car parking garage, improvements to existing build- ings and significant enhance- ments to intensive care units, patient areas, laboratories and lobbies. COFCO teamed with RTKL fromDallas, TX on this project. “COFCO supported RTKL’s product choices and their ef- forts to create an overall serene and comfortable atmosphere,” said Joan Waters , partner of COFCO. ■ MAC raises programmatic equity WASHINGTON, DC —On behalf of the Van Metre Com- panies , MAC arranged a joint- venture investment with a long-term institutional and programmatic equity partner for the pursuit of well-located, value-add apartment acquisi- tions. Through this venture, this year VanMetre has already closed on three apartment com- munities totaling 185 units. “This partner allows Van Me- tre the ability to aggressively pursue an urban expansion of its apartment platform know- ing that they have a long-term capital commitment from a leading national investor,” said AndrewMcAllister , executive director at MAC. “We believe that ultimately this venture will result in Van Metre becoming one of the larger apartment opera- tors in the metro area,” added Bruce Levin , executive direc- tor. McAllister and Levin led the MAC placement team. ■
