guarantee First breeding season is defined as the 90-day period following the first turnout of the bulls. If a bull is injured or becomes a non-breeder in this 90-day period, you must let us know right away. Bulls must be checked by your veterinarian and a written report on the injury submitted to us. We will provide a suitable replacement if one is available; if not, we will give you credit on next year’s sale, minus the salvage amount. Also, you must send us a copy of the sale barn receipt to show us how much to credit. The warranty is void if not reported in the first 90 days after turn-out. No credit will be allowed after the first breeding season. The guarantee does not apply to the death of the bull, nor does it cover mismanagement, poor nutritional care and/or neglect. We do not cover injuries sustained prior to the breeding season. Guarantee is void if bulls are turned in with other bulls, prior to turnout. Injury may occur, therefore the warranty will be void. Ownership: Cattle are the property of the buyer as soon as sold, with the buyer taking complete risk. liability All persons attending this sale do so at their own risk, legal or otherwise, for the safety or the behavior of the animals. The owners, auction service and sale staff assume no liability for property loss or any accidents. trucking We have free delivery on BULLS within 300 miles. FEMALES will be the re- sponsibility of the buyer as soon as the sale is over and settlement has been made. If the cattle are not taken home sale day, they will be left at the ranch at the buyer’s risk. herd health Interstate health papers will be furnished with every animal selling. The cow herd and bulls are on a complete herd health program. Bulls sell as guaran- teed breeders and semen tested. The bred females have been ultrasounded and sell guaranteed bred however, ultrasound information listed presents the calving dates to the best of our knowledge and is not a guarantee of either AI or pasture breeding. boarding Bulls will be wintered for free at Lau Angus until delivery starting in March. Mortality insurance is highly recommended on all bulls wintered. We will still be offering a breeding season guarantee and all bulls will be semen tested prior to delivery. All bred females purchased to be taken home day of sale unless prior arrangement are made.
A consultant will be on hand sale day where you may purchase insurance on your bull. We will take every precaution to ensure the health of your bull. However, we strongly encourage you to take insurance on your purchase.
