Unlocking limitless potential
Where it all begins Gypsum and glass fibres in their raw state - materials with endless potential once combined and transformed into Zerodec GRG.
The difference Gillespie uses independently tested and certified high quality raw materials in the manufacture of Zerodec GRG, with quality and consistency allowing us to offer endless architectural possibilities and infinitely repeatable performance and consistency for projects worldwide. Our Zerodec GRG products are designed in the UK and manufactured in our quality controlled factories in Poland and Ireland, using the latest 3D and CNC technology, ensuring optimal performance,
flexibility and minimal waste. Engineered for excellence
The two main constituents of Zerodec GRG are gypsum and glass fibre, but not any gypsum and glassfibre! Gypsum is a naturally occurring rock crystal which is mined and processed to create finished plasters. However, not all plasters are the same and at Gillespie we only use the very best Alpha plasters, highly refined to give a more uniform crystal structure than typical Beta plasters, resulting in a stronger and lighter product as well as using less water during the production cycle. The glass fibre we use is a continuous strand monofilament material with a water-soluble binder, giving Zerodec GRG its excellent properties, with the laminated matrix of plaster and monofilament glass fibres ensuring its unique strength and low weight. The finished product is cured using our unique de-humidification and drying process, extracting maximum moisture and creating a high quality material that is stronger, drier and more stable when installed.
