Adult Health Nursing I On Campus This course is a study of the pathology and general health management of diseases and injuries across the life span. Common diseases and disorders of each organ system will be studied to develop an understanding of how pathophysiological processes disrupt normal function.

Human Growth & Development Asynchronous Students receive instruction in the basic principles, stages, concepts and theory of human growth and development. Particular emphasis is placed on the application of these studies to professional healthcare activities and education.

Intercultural Communication Asynchronous This course combines theory and application of intercultural communication to develop an understanding of how to communicate with people from diverse cultures. The course explores how cultures use communication in different ways and strategies for sharing information between cultures.

This clinical course supports 301; teaches/reinforces the nursing skills and procedures for the care of adult health/ medical surgical patients. Focus is placed on pathophysiologic mechanisms of disease within the respiratory, cardiovascular, and hematological systems.

Adult Health Nursing II On Campus This course further introduces the student to nursing assessment and management of acutely ill adults. Pathophysiology and nursing care in specialized settings will be introduced.

Clinical Nursing V On Site This clinical course supports NUR310 and teaches RN nursing skills and procedures related to adult health nursing. On‐site clinical instruction will be the responsibility of the qualified college nursing faculty in collaboration with practicing nurses.

Nutrition for Nursing Practice Asynchronous This course covers the science and fundamentals of human nutrition. The course focuses on identifying and promoting healthy nutrition for diverse patient populations.

Holistic Health Assessment & Health Promotion Asynchronous This course examines theories and practice of holistic health assessment and health promotion for individuals and families across the lifespan.

Community and Public Health Nursing Asynchronous This course provides an overview of community and public health nursing. Concepts and methods of community assessment and health improvement are introduced. Communication and collaboration with diverse population groups that make up the community is emphasized to form partnerships for public health promotion.

Organizational & Systems Leadership Asynchronous This course focuses on the management and leadership roles and functions of the professional registered nurse within organizational structures. Leadership styles, management theories, conflict resolution, delegation and strategic planning are presented.

Global Health Nursing Asynchronous

This clinical course supports NUR 432 and teaches the RN nursing skills and procedures related to mental health nursing care. On‐site clinical instruction, supervision, evaluation, and placement will be the responsibility of the qualified college nursing faculty in collaboration with practicing nurses.

Nursing Research for Evi- dence- Based Practice Asynchronous The course is an introduction to nursing research and the application of research evidence into nursing practice. Critical analysis of research studies and application of research findings to practice are examined to develop an evidence-based nursing practice.

Baccalaureate Generalist Nursing Practice On Site This course reviews and solidifies the role of the baccalaureate generalist nurse. A practicum provides the opportunity to apply theories and concepts learned throughout the program in the implementation of the role of the baccalaureate generalist nurse.

NCLEX Preparation III Online Via Zoom

The purpose of this course is to provide a comprehensive review of nursing content identified in the current National council licensure examination for registered nurses (NCLEX-RN).
