MCCONNELL AUDITORIUM TOURS Between 1:00 and 3:00 P.M. | Drop in at McConnell Auditorium, East Entrance Get a look at the historic McConnell Hall, which is home to our Theatre and Performing Arts department. Guided tours start every 30 minutes. FLIGHT TRAINING CENTER TOURS 1:30, 2:00, and 2:30 P.M. | Starting from the Flight Center entrance Drive up and join us for a 30-minute tour of our Flight Training Center (FTC) located at 1101 E. Bowers Rd. (approx. 7-minute drive from campus). GREENHOUSE TOURS Between 10:00 A.M. and 4:00 P.M. | L ocated on Wildcat Way, Behind Dean Hall Stop by the CWU Greenhouse to see plants from all over the world! Get your picture taken with Snorkel the tortoise, hold a snake, and take home a plant with a $1 donation. Nowadays, when you travel along the Interstate, animals are traveling too—both above and below the automobile traffic. The I-90 Snoqualmie Pass East Project brings the forest back together by creating pathways for animals to cross the road. Learn about the importance of wildlife crossings for fostering a healthier habitat. JAMES E. SARAH SPURGEON GALLERY Between 1:00 and 5:00 P.M. | Drop in at Randall Hall Current Exhibit: • Lehuauakea: I Nā Kiʻekiʻe Hou | To New Heights This show features works grounded in the revival of traditional Native Hawaiian barkcloth, or kapa, a non-woven textile made from the beaten bark of the paper mulberry tree. Lehuauakea’s creative practice is informed by intergenerational, place-based knowledge, passed on to them by their elders and mentors.
