CWU As A Transfer Student 12:00 and 1:00 P.M. | SURC 135
This 15-minute presentation will be followed by a Q&A. We will discuss the most common questions transfer students arrive with: • How do my credits transfer? • How do I make sure my time at CWU is efficient and gets me started toward my next steps in life? • How do I get connected socially, as someone who isn’t arriving at age 18? • How do I find housing and employment in Ellensburg?

Student Experience Panel 8:45 to 9:15 A.M. | SURC Theatre, Second Floor Learn about the student experience directly from current CWU students. Topics include on-campus experiences, selecting CWU, and lessons from student life.
Financial Aid 12:30 to 2:30 p.m. | SURC 137 Stop in and ask our Financial Aid professional staff questions about the 2026-2027 aid year.
Admission to CWU 9:30 to 10:00 A.M. | SURC Theatre, Second Floor Join the session to learn about the admissions process for first-year and transfer students.
On-the-Spot Admissions and Application Assistance 12:30 to 2:30 P.M. | Samuelson Building 170 and 171 Did you bring your transcript with you? Visit us to find out if you are eligible to be admitted on the spot and qualify for a merit-based scholarship. Discover Your Academic College 1:00pm–1:50 p.m. All sessions repeat 2:00pm–2:50 p.m. Learn More About Majors, Faculty, Internships, and Unique Experiences This session introduces you to your academic college with a welcome from the Dean, an overview of majors, internships, and future opportunities. You’ll also hear directly from current first-year and transfer students in an interactive Q&A panel.
Housing and Dining 11:00 to 11:30 A.M. | SURC Theatre, Second Floor
Topics will include the housing selection process for first-year and transfer students and will also include dining options and meal plans.
Understanding the Cost of Attendance, Financial Aid, and Scholarships 12:00 to 12:30 P.M. | SURC Theatre, Second Floor Whether you will be utilizing financial aid, or are interested in scholarships, GET/529 funds, or Central’s payment plan, learn about anticipated costs, important dates, and payment processes.
