Offices /Classroom/Public Areas The majority of office and research spaces have exposed and polished concrete. It is in good to fair condition with some cracking. There is carpet in the two private offices, in the conference room, in the classroom, and the public corridor/lobby/reception. Kitchen/Service Vinyl tile flooring has been provided in the kitchen and the adjacent service room. It is in fair to poor condition. Toilet Rooms Floor finishes at all tower restrooms and in the basement level locker rooms are octagonal ceramic tile with coved tile base. It is in good condition. Special flooring The chimp indoor cage area has an epoxy finished floor. It is in fair condition. The flooring in the indoor chimp activity area is smooth concrete. Both areas have recessed drain troughs to facilitate cleaning.
CEILINGS
Generally there is no finish ceiling in the majority of the lobby and gift shop space. There is no ceiling in the interior chomp spaces. Offices/Classrooms Offices and the classroom have a traditional 2x4 lay-in acoustic ceiling tile. The ceilings are in good condition with some areas showing stains from past leaking. Toilet Rooms, Kitchen, Service Painted GWB ceilings are provided in all restrooms, in the kitchen, and in service/storage areas. CASEWORK Interior casework is provided in the kitchen, conference room, and in reception. Except in the kitchen which is well-used, it is in good condition. It is assumed that all existing casework would be replaced, modified, or relocated with subsequent renovation/remodel work.
