Christmas Super Draw

By Laura Macpherson, Volunteer Coordinator

At the Ayrshire Hospice, we host corporate volunteer experience days. As an organisation, we recognise the positive impact volunteering can have on employees, fostering stronger connections with their communities and co- workers. These events not only help improve job satisfaction but also cultivate supportive and inclusive working environments.

December was packed with festive cheer in the In-Patient Unit, thanks to some amazing groups who brought joy and laughter to our patients! Festive Fun in the In-Patient Unit

Congratulations to Jean Allan of Stewarton, who scooped the top prize of £3,000 in our Christmas Super Draw! We hope you enjoy spending your winnings, Jean! Congratulations also to all our other lucky Christmas Super Draw winners. A huge thank you to everyone who took part—your support helped raise almost £31,000! An amazing amount!

Robert and Lyle from Currie & Brown supported us with bucket collecting at Dobbies, Ayr. Their smiles say it all – a big thank you to these wonderful supporters and to Currie & Brown for allowing them to spend their Friday with us. Whether you’re deciding where to spend your corporate responsibility day or simply an

organisation looking to give back, we encourage you to consider volunteering with the Ayrshire Hospice.
