Tree of Remembrance
A Blossoming Success
By Claire Stuart-Paulin, Senior Fundraiser
For the fourth year running, the Rotary Club of Ayr organised their beautiful Tree of Remembrance on Ayr High Street in December. For the 10 days before Christmas, our amazing staff and volunteers joined forces with members of the Rotary, Ayrshire Cancer Support, and Whiteleys Retreat to man the tree. The weather was dreich but it was worth it to meet and thank all the wonderfully generous people visiting Ayr for their donations. Each charity has received £2,200 and we would like to thank the marvellous members of the Rotary in Ayr for their continued support.

Since their launch in August last year, our Roses to Remember—beautifully handcrafted copper roses—have already raised over £5,000 in support of patient and family care.
The team is delighted by the warm response from our community and extends heartfelt thanks to everyone who has donated so far. Your generosity is truly appreciated. Every Rose to Remember is unique, just like the individual it honours. All funds raised help support our vital palliative care services, ensuring we can continue
providing compassionate care to those who need it most.
