Run the Runway raises £150,000!

Ayrshire Hospice Golf Day
Monday 11th August > West Kilbride Golf Club Take on the challenge of West Kilbride’s stunning links course while enjoying a fantastic day of golf with friends, colleagues, or family! Start the day with a breakfast roll, tea, and coffee before heading out for the Texas Scramble competition. After sinking your final putt, relax in the clubhouse with a well- earned meal and refreshment.
It was an incredible sight watching 1,000 runners take to the runway at Glasgow Prestwick Airport on a cold, sunny November morning, raising £150,000 for three charities, including the Ayrshire Hospice.

The Ayrshire Hospice was delighted to be part of such a unique and
iconic event, alongside charities Doing it for Daniel and The Beatson Cancer Charity. With 1000 participants either walking or running 5k or 10k across the two runways, they were cheered along by hundreds of volunteers and songs from Rock Choir. Autumn Ball 2025

Our much-loved Autumn Ball returns for another night of fun and fundraising! Your hilarious host, Edward Reid, will keep you entertained with his wit, occasional songs, and a few surprises. Enjoy a delicious three-course meal before hitting the dance floor with live music to keep you dancing all night long!
It was a privilege to be part of this event, and we are incredibly grateful to all the staff and participants for their support of the Hospice and other charities.
Tickets are £ 90 per person and tables can seat up to 10 guests . Smaller parties are welcomed and may be seated together.
Last year our collecting cans raised an amazing £19,200.16
