The first of three Big Country bulls that are out of flush sisters by Foundation and Blossom 0278. Lot 31 is a legitimate herd bull candidate and one of the most complete bulls in the entire offering. As he has matured, he is one of the highest gaining, strongest performing bulls we are selling, recording a gain ratio of 124 and weighing in over 1300 pounds at a year. Ultrasounding like a herd bull, he ratioed 110 for marbling and scanned a 15 inch ribeye to ratio 106. Beyond all of his measured and genetic accolades, his dam thrusts him further into herd bull status. She is as elite of a female as we have on the ranch. Stellar in her design, she is quiet, long fronted, and opens up with an expansive outward shape to her rib, and she carries her extra depth deep into her rear flank. Standing on an excellent set of feet, her udder is strongly attached, with refined evenly spaced teats. Be sure to find Lot 31. The second in a pair of full brother in blood bulls by Big Country out of Foundation x Blossom daughters. This consistency of this mating is exciting and readily displayed as these three full brothers in blood - Lots 31,32 and 48 are all heavy muscled, high performing stout made individuals. When we began to use Big Country we thought he was a logical choice on our Foundation daughters and the resulting progeny of this genetic combination is everything we’d hoped for. Specifically, Lot 32 is a stud. Great structured, awesome phenotype, worlds of shape and expression and he is out of an absolute beauty of a cow. She is a wedge fronted, long necked cow that opens up through her chest and rib about as nicely as any female we have. A high indexing female, she only speeds up the excitement this good bull has.
