Amanda Flosbach joined the staff as Development Director in 2010 and became a tremendous catalyst for the exponential growth that Dancers’ Workshop experienced during this decade. DW continued to establish its name as a presenter of world-class performances, welcoming guest artists including Elisa Monte Dance, Richard Alston, New York City Ballet, Bill T. Jones, Hubbard Street, David Dorfman Dance, Malpaso, Alonzo King LINES Ballet, Savion Glover, Batsheva, Momix, Pilobolus, Cedar Lake Contemporary, Ann Carlson, Diavolo, Aspen Santa Fe Ballet, BJM Danse Montreal, Joe Goode, and more. Dancers’ Workshop also then began to commission new work from dance artists around the world. In 2011, Dancers Workshop launched the Pilates Program. In the following years, the Wellness & Movement Program expanded to include other classes and opportunities. In 2014, Babs Case received the Governor’s Arts Award and dancer Francesca Romo joined Contemporary Dance Wyoming, becoming an instrumental co-creator with Babs Case as well as an instructor in Gyrotonic/Gyrokinesis and Craniosacral work. Throughout the years numerous Alumni: Sarah (Konrad) Hemphill, Heidi Wilson, Megan
Stewart, Cady Cox, Meleta Buckstaff, Michaela Ellingson and Susanne Staehr forged the path for students to return to Jackson
and work at DW in their specialized field. The following year, 2017, marked the addition of Eric Midgley as Ballet Master and School Director. In 2019, Jen Visosky became the first Dancers’ Workshop alumnus to head the Board of Directors.
