To deliver a comprehensive reel control system upgrade, which will replace the reel servo and control systems of the mill’s BM2. The upgrade will modernize critical components of the reel control system, improving spare parts availability and extending the system’s operational lifespan. The latest technology will significantly reduce the risk of unplanned downtime caused by component failures. To deliver a third Advantage ThruAir Drying (TAD) tissue machine, the startup being planned for 2027. Delivery to include a complete tissue production line, including stock preparation equipment. The new line will feature an Advantage ThruAir tissue machine equipped with an OptiFlo II TIS headbox, ThruAir Dryers, an air system, and an Advantage SoftReel reel. The scope also includes mist and dust control systems, automation systems, basic mill engineering, Valmet Performance Center services, and services for installation and commissioning. Once operational, the production line will increase Irving Consumer Products' annual tissue production capacity by 75,000 tons. To supply a high-capacity winder to board machine PM3. Delivery will include an OptiWin Drum two-drum base winder with automatic functions such as set change with core and tail gluing and slitter positioning, an OptiCart Stream parent roll cart, and horizontal transfer rails. The delivery will also include spare parts packages and Valmet Industrial Internet solutions with connectivity. The winder will handle parent rolls with a width of 8,660mm at a design speed of 3,000m/min. The PM3 produces kraft top test liner and recycled liner grades with a design basis weight from 70 to 200g/m2. To supply a Valmet DNAe Distributed Control System (DCS) with Mill-Wide automation infrastructure and pulp dryer automation, including an upgrade for the Valmet IQ Quality Control System (QCS). To deliver a SymBelt Shoe Press Roll upgrade with Valmet Black Belt shoe press belt and SymBelt services. The delivery consists of the SymBelt Shoe Press Roll upgrade, the installation of wear, chemical, and heat-resistant Valmet Black Belt, and SymBelt roll services securing roll runnability.
