To rebuild the press section of the paper machine. The machine produces coated board in a range of 180-450 gsm and it features a width of 3200 mm and a design speed of 700 mpm. The press section upgrade will improve the coated board smoothness, the press dryness and the machine efficiency. To supply innovative fiberboard recycling plant called “Osiris 2.0”. The new plant will boost Unilin’s fiberboard recycling capacity from 1 to 10 tonnes per hour and will be able to process post-consumer MDF material. The scope of supply includes the fiber transport and storage system, fiber sifters, glue preparation and dosing, PROjet glue-saving system, pneumatic systems and an Emission Control System. Dieffenbacher will also be responsible for the steel construction, transport and conveyor systems, and the plant’s electrics and automation. To deliver a chipper feeding line upgrade to the woodyard, including the delivery of several parts such as infeed chute, spout, durable chipper hood, couplings, bearing assemblies as well as the installation of those parts. Has renewed their strategic IT partnership, covering a comprehensive range of next gen application services. The collaboration agreement has been renewed for five years, with an option of a further one-year extension. Under the renewed collaboration, Tietoevry will provide various services, including application management and development, automation and AI, application development capabilities, DevOps team as a service, as well as TIPS Industry Solutions and Services, a Manufacturing Execution System (MES) for several UPM business areas To supply two OptiWin Drum two-drum base winders with automatic functions such as set change with core and tail gluing and slitter positioning. A spare parts package and Valmet Industrial Internet connectivity solutions will also be delivered.
