INDEPENDENT LIVING (IL) The apartments at Seasons Retirement Communities offer Independent Living. They are designed for older adults who can live independently but wish to be in a community for seniors with access to social or recreational programming. Our apartments and townhomes have an emergency call system, but no regular care services are provided. INDEPENDENT SUPPORTIVE LIVING (ISL) Independent Supportive Living suits an independent, active senior who does not need assistance with daily living activities but who benefits from a supportive, congregate living environment. Residents in ISL receive assistance with scheduled care and typically enjoy services such as 24-hour emergency response, one, two or three meals daily, depending on the community, weekly housekeeping and access to our social and recreational program. CONTINUING CARE HOME TYPE B Adults living in a Continuing Care Home Type B setting need significant support for many aspects of daily living but do not need care in a long- term care residence. Residents receive a personal care plan from their Case Manager, wellness checks, three meals daily, housekeeping services, 24-hour emergency response and optional additional services as needed. CONTINUING CARE HOME TYPE B LEVEL 3 This setting allows you to enjoy privacy and independence while knowing your health and personal care supports are onsite when needed. Accommodation, meals, housekeeping, linen, and recreational services are provided. A higher level of personal care support is provided for scheduled and unscheduled care needs according to the plan of care. Health care services are provided by a Health Care Aide but can be accessed as needed. CONTINUING CARE HOME TYPE B LEVEL 4 This level includes accommodation, meals, housekeeping, linen and recreational services. According to the plan of care, a higher level of personal support is provided, and healthcare services are offered onsite for scheduled and unscheduled care needs. Continuing Care Home Type B Level 4 is suitable for individuals with more complex medical needs that are predictable and safely managed with onsite, professional nursing (LPN level) and the direction of the Case Manager. CONTINUING CARE HOME TYPE B - SECURE SPACE This level provides specialized dementia care. Continuing Care Home Type B - Secure Space is for individuals living with moderate to severe dementia who may have a high risk of wandering and unpredictable behaviours but are not a safety risk to themselves or others. Memory Care community residents receive specialized care services. The Seasons Embrace Today ® Memory Care philosophy is an integral part of the approach. This requires a deep understanding of who our residents are so that staff may adjust their interactions and respond to whatever is needed at the moment. With specialized training on a person- centred, positive approach to care for persons living with dementia, our team approaches each day with a commitment to making all interactions positive and meaningful, one moment at a time.

Our one-storey townhouses and apartments are equipped with an emergency call system, but no regular care services are provided. INDEPENDENT SUPPORTIVE LIVING (ISL) Independent Supportive Living suits an independent, active senior who does not need assistance with daily living activities but who benefits from a supportive, congregate living environment. Residents in ISL receive assistance with scheduled care and typically enjoy services such as 24-hour emergency response, one, two or three meals daily, weekly housekeeping, and medication administration. ASSISTED LIVING (AL) The Assisted Living program at Seasons provides supportive care to residents who need assistance with daily tasks but do not require the skilled care provided at a long-term care residence. Residents receive the same services as ISL, plus any additional care services that assist with their daily living activities, including unscheduled care. MEMORY CARE The Memory Care program at Seasons is specifically designed to care for seniors living with dementia or Alzheimer's disease in a dedicated, secure area within some of our residences.
