Important notes x All tests and records shall be completed and recorded by a competent boiler operator.
x Every visit to the boiler house and the name of every visitor shall be recorded. x Visits by third parties who work on the boilers or associated plant shall be recorded in this log book and include a brief note of the work undertaken and the reference numbers of their job sheets. x Keep all water treatment checks and records for a minimum of 2 years. x On re-starting a boiler following maintenance or a breakdown, a full set of tests must be carried out and recorded prior to putting the boiler back on line. x This log book contains 31 sets of daily check sheets followed by 5 sets of weekly check sheets. x This log book shall be kept in a safe, secure location and shall be retained for a minimum of 2 years (INDG436). x All annual inspection reports stay with the boiler for life
