With great joy and honor, I extend my heartfelt congratulations on the 2024 Winter Emerald and Gold Scholarship Ball and the remarkable 34-year legacy of presenting the Coterie of Debutantes. This momentous occasion celebrates not only the elegance and grace of these 23 outstanding young ladies but also the dedication and tireless efforts of the Arlington Foundation for Excellence in Education and Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated®, Xi Theta Omega Chapter, in empowering the next generation. The six-month journey of learning, personal growth, and volunteerism these young women have undertaken speaks volumes about the vision and values upheld by the chapter and foundation. I am deeply moved by your continued work to foster educational opportunities and provide scholarships that enable our youth to pursue their dreams. Your efforts truly reflect our sorority’s motto, “Service to All Mankind,” and continue illuminating the path for young people to follow. May this year’s Winter Emerald and Gold Scholarship Ball, themed “Reign in Royalty,” be an evening of celebration, inspiration, and an enduring legacy of excellence. To the debutantes, I extend my warmest congratulations. May this evening become a cherished memory and serve as a stepping stone toward a future filled with accomplishments and meaningful contributions to society. Once again, congratulations to the Arlington Foundation for Excellence in Education and Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated®, Xi Theta Omega Chapter, on this magnificent occasion.
