every other country in crisis, I say “no, gracias.” Meanwhile, the Amer- ican real estate market is in a state right now where there are more opportunities for investors than ever before. America has always had one of the strongest real estate markets in the world. Today, according to AFIRE (Association of Foreign Investors in Real Estate) the U.S. is still far and away the best place to invest in real estate. In fact, six of their top ten cit- ies in the world to invest in are right here in America. Even better, the usual suspects like New York aren’t where the big money is anymore. Up-and-coming communities in the South and Southwest are where the real opportunities are, so where do you think I’m investing? With everyone worried about a war with Iran, I wouldn’t recommend it. South America? Latin America? With Venezuela, Brazil and just about

Because of a lot of different fac- tors, the completely self-contained, low-cost rental communities I invest in just don’t exist in many of the countries I’ve visited. That’s why so many people I meet, either in busi- ness dealings abroad or at events around the world, are so interested in the concept of these multifamily rentals and the possibility of invest- ing in them. There are so many great reasons
