My wife and I signed up for almost every investment class and work- shop that came our way and read multiple books on money, wealth, and investing. Remember, everyone has something we can learn when we are committed to our goal and listen carefully. We attended classes on real estate rental investing, tax lien invest- ments, Roth IRA workshops, and more. We went on to take a series of more costly classes on money management and wealth building where we learned about financial freedom and money principles for wealth building. We then signed up for detailed workshops with experts on differing passive income vehicles to which we were attracted. After identifying a dozen and studying about six different passive investments in depth, we narrowed the field to a couple we were seri - ously considering. are worthy! Be especially cautious of an inherent conflict of interest that exists with teachers/mentors who are also selling the investments they are promoting. You owe it to yourself to verify the track record and claims of those of- fering their teachings and expertise before going “all in” with your money and your time. “Grade your Guru!” as one mentor of mine warns who is an expert in stock investing. Once you are clear on your goal/ destination, everyone that comes across our path has something you can learn. During your exploration, there is absolutely no harm in read- ing every book and attending every free or low-cost education opportu- nity you can find that interests you.

Trust in yourself to recognize and keep what is of value and works for you, while discarding the rest. Education is essential. You must consider every dollar spent on ed- ucation as an essential investment in your future. You need to always summarize and take action soon after any education to lock in the key learnings and lessons that fit you. Take action to develop new habits based on those learnings which will carry you towards your goal.
