GODFIDENCE

BY MINISTER DEJA SLAUGHTER

GODfidence is having confidence in God because you have a relationship with Him and know Him. You have faith in Him from experiences of God keeping His promises that He spoke in His Word. You know His character and know that He never changes according to Hebrews 13:8. It says “Jesus is the same yesterday, today, and forever". God told Moses, "I Am that I Am", to show him and us today that God is who we need Him to be in our lives. God is our Father, Provider, Counselor, Friend, Healer, Helper and so much more! He guides us into all truth, and He is a light unto our feet (Psalm 119:105). He never leaves us, nor forsakes us (Deuteronomy 31:6). He is the King of kings and Lord of lords (Revelation 19:16). His words never come back void (useless or without result), and any Word God speaks will do what He says it will do (Isaiah 55:11).

We can live confidently in knowing who our God is and what He can do in our lives. He is our everlasting Father who is all knowing, all powerful, and everywhere at one time! He catches every tear you cry in a bottle (Psalm 56:8). When you're experiencing problems, He is right beside you, comforting you through it until you come out victorious (2 Corinthians 1:3-4, Deuteronomy 20:4). He works on us every day to make us better people. He also gives us mercy and grace when we mess up (Hebrews 4:16). Have Godfidence today and know that the LORD your God is God; He is the faithful God, keeping his covenant of love to a thousand generations of those who love him and keep his commandments (Deuteronomy 7:9).
