BePreparedBeReady.org is the culmination of everything I’ve ever done. It’s the thread that ties all my experiences together. Through our Kits4Kids Initiative, we’re helping children feel safe, seen, and strong. We’re giving them tools—both physical and emotional—to navigate a world that can often feel overwhelming. We’re helping kids—75% of them— overcome fear, anxiety, depression, and even thoughts of suicide. We’re helping parents—76% of them—who worry constantly about their children’s safety and anxiety. Our safety go-kits fit into everyday backpacks, so they’re always with the child. We also provide emergency backpacks that hang on closet doors, ready when needed. But it’s more than just kits. We’re giving kids a voice. Through our Young Voices… Big Impact campaigns, children become spokespeople for their own safety and well-being. Mental health experts say this is one of the most effective ways to help kids heal and grow—by giving them agency, purpose, and a platform. We’re also bringing leadership, public speaking, and self-esteem training to these young people. We’re teaching them to dream, to lead, to believe in themselves. They’re becoming community leaders who educate others about preparedness, survival, and resilience. Without my Crystalline Moments, none of this would have been possible. Founding BePreparedBeReady.org and watching kids support each other, empower their families, and uplift their communities—it completes the circle of my life. I’ve learned that helping others doesn’t mean fixing them. It means walking beside them, believing in them, and
