“Confessions of a Formerly Flat-Broke Connector: How I Laughed My Way Out of Debt and Into Destiny” By Debi Lynn, Professional Connector, Debt-to-Wealth Alchemist, and CEO of "Oops, That Was Due Yesterday.”

I once paid for groceries with quarters, dimes, and a Canadian nickel. Not because I was feeling international, but because I literally had no other money. The cashier looked at me as if I were trying to smuggle maple syrup into the economy. That was rock bottom—until I bounced a rent check and my landlord sent me a link to his GoFundMe. For me. That’s when I decided: no more. No more debt drama. No more crying over overdraft alerts. No more watching my credit score flirt with negative numbers. I was going to turn this Titanic around—with humor, hustle, and a side of spreadsheet sorcery. But here’s the plot twist: I didn’t just get myself out of the quicksand. I made it my life’s work to help other people—especially single moms like me who are trying to pay for groceries, gas, and BLACK COFFEE all on one income and half a prayer. What I Actually Do (Besides Make You Laugh) By day (and let's be honest, by most nights too), I’m a “Connector.” What’s that, you ask? It means I put the right people in the right rooms with the right information to do something revolutionary: solve problems and make money—in that order. I work with single moms, broke entrepreneurs, side-hustling teachers, and anyone else who has a passion but also a pile of bills that looks like the Leaning Tower of Visa.

I was going to turn this Titanic around— with humor, hustle, and a side of spreadsheet sorcery.
