Embrace Chaos – Expect the unexpected, avoid disappointment by Susan Younger
Are you feeling stretched thin, looking at the world around you, seeing the extremes of success and failures? Chaos abounds, and uncertainty leaves you wondering what is next. The ominous projections contrasted with presentations of limitless opportunities present both fear and excitement. All shouting at you in the media, and from various platforms you scroll through daily. Information arrives from so many sources, you have difficulty remembering where it came from. Who do you need to respond to first? What platform are they communicating with you on the most? The confusion leaves us feeling stuck in chaos, regardless of the number of systems we are already using. You question whether you have the best systems and tools, as recommendations from others give you more options to consider. Finding your way through the obstacles Do you fold? Do you run and hide? Or do you engage with it, find your way through, and as a result grow your sense of self and self-confidence? This is where embracing chaos as an option to explore can lead to making the most of the experiences that confront us unexpectedly. How we experience these events is our choice in how we deal with what confronts us. Figure out what things add value to your life and business. Move those things forward. Dismiss what serves no purpose, brings no joy, and be open to learning from everything. As changes in technology and AI (Artificial Intelligence) continue to grow faster, it feels like what I see around me are business leaders pushing for things to be finished quickly. They fear they may miss out, as if fast is the only option. Rushing can feel overwhelmed and unfulfilled as they run into obstacles they had not anticipated everywhere.
